Tour Tips
Downeast weather change change in minutes so it is recommended people bring layered clothing. The boat has a small pilot house for three that still have a view and more could be forward if the weather turned extreme. There will be a sunshade over the deck when necessary.
The boat has a marine toilet in a forward birth and can be a tight fit but accessible for most. It is recommended you use the facilities at the breakwater prior to departure.
Destinations are dependent upon sea conditions but generally limited to three miles from land. Custom charters can be for fishing but the DELKIN does not provide fishing gear at this time. Eastport Windjammers provides fishing charters.
The DELKIN is a white fiberglass luxury boat so there are some requested typical boat protocol requests but not absolute requirements:
Please avoid red drinks if possible but we know some are persnickety. Red spills along with orange cheesy snacks can stain the deck an increase the cost of maintenance.
